I am very excited to announce that my Clothing label "ILHANA" is officially launched !! It has been very hectic month for me. But Alhamdulillah it's worth it. It been a week since I launched it, and alhamdulillah the response was great !! Launching my own label is a dream come true for me. Even though i have a lottt to learn about fashion and the industry, I DO KNOW what i like and the small detail that make something stand out to me. 

The brand aims to provide every fashion conscious covered woman a solution to a modest yet fashionable outfit from head to toe, as well as bringing back the feminine, elegance, and classy to the Muslim woman.

My first collections was inspired by First Lady in the world which is elegant and sophisticated. I am  putting varieties of style in my first collections to represent variety of personalities and its interest in clothing. Some personality prefers the simplest plain dress, but some prefers to look a little bit glamour. Some of you might also like to have more a confident & strong look, but some might prefers the conservatives’ style. So i am bringing all these personalities in the first collection. Even though some dresses looks fiercer like with spikes, Glamour with sequins, but it doesn’t leave the touch of modesty and sophisticated in its design.

Last but not least, i hope my products can touch those with similar passion, style, and interest as me. And since i came from no fashion education or background, I hope by the time my design will improve and will learn more about fashion and its industry.

TUTORIAL: MY EVERYDAY SIMPLE EYE MAKE UP (USING ARABIAN KAJAL)

Salam everyone..... :)

Here I present you my quick and easy eye make-up I wear almost everyday ! I love this look because it’s super easy & fast. It doesn't look so much heavy for everyday & it looks so effortless rather than you applied some color of eye shadow all over your eyes, which i think it might look a little bit 'too much' for your daily, unless you are going to special event or occasion. I used to wear eye liner or gel liner, but since i tried this ARABIAN KAJAL, i fell in loveee !!!! it's so easy to apply, it's so black, really easy to blend, and long lasting.

I really love make up which focus on my eyes rather than any other part. Because it brings out the best of my eye color. 

In the following video tutorial, i show all the step for my everyday eye make up. So sorry for the first few minute of the video is a bit blur as i forgot to set up the focus mode :((( I hope you will enjoy it :)))

ABAYA TRENDS

Seeing Abaya design nowadays is really breath taking.. Exquisitely styled abayas are the trend nowadays. Women in middle east are determined to make a fashion statement out of the typically plain black robes. Now abayas come in different styles with sparkling crystal beads, pearls, satin flowers, embroidery, or patches in coloured fabrics. Though Abaya is an Islamic dress and taken as symbol of Muslim women’s attire around the world, it has also evolved and has become more stylish these days. The design are beautiful, lot's of work on them applied, well done designers! Something new, elegant and at the same time stylish for a Muslim women.
In abaya fashion 2013 Main thing which is unique and new is the cut and the shape of abaya. As you will see in below pictures i posted, all abaya has different type of facbirc, cutting, sticthing, which is affecting over all looks of the abaya. The ribbons, Embroidery, the use of contras patch in  different colors are also remain popular trend for abaya design in 2013.

There have been a plenty designers who have been dishing out Hijabi friendly pieces to add to the most confident hijabi’s wardrobe. I saw many of them displayed a long sleeves dresses, and almost all covered. There are so many my favorite look and dresses this year.. and i wanna share it with you guys some of my favorite outfit. Just imagine adding it with a turban style or even just wrape the hijab on your head, and you have one amazing outfit ;)

"ILHANA" CLOTHING LINE

Salam Hijabiii...

I would take a moment to let you know about something very exciting for me, and hopefully also very exciting for you all my readers ;) I will be having my own clothing line called "ILHANA" it's taken from my first daughter name, and Insyallah will be launching it in April 2013. Actually i have been planing this project for a year together with wonderful friend of mine in Jakarta, and was supposed to be launch in September 2012 as agreed. But i stopped and postponed the project as i was distracted due to my pregnancy and delivery of my second daughter.
I’m not sure how this is going to work out, or if it is even going to work out at all, but I have witness that Muslim fashion is becoming a growing market in countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia and Middle east especially UAE. So i want to try it. As Fashion is always be my patient, so i am doing it also as a hobby. So yeah, BISMILLAH I am so very excited to show you the pieces. My line will consist of very modest design with current trend and modern concept.
